Holiday: Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger: Red & Rustic

November 30, 2011

There’s a couch.
There’s some wood.
A few striped pillows.
Neutral tones.

That about sums up this week’s rustically wonderful Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger, right?

So, when I sat down to make my card, I tried to include each of these elements, in one way or another.  I think I made it work…

There’s a couch. Well, not really a couch…more like a chair but you can sit on it just like a couch so I say it works.

There’s some wood. Well, not really “wood” per say – but there is a Christmas tree which definitely contains wood or else it’d be a pile of leaves and that’s not cute. So…I think that works.

A few striped pillows …well, there’s one striped pillow.

Neutral tone. Yep! I used cream colored cardstock which is definitely a neutral!

And now that I’ve campaigned for my card…here it is!!

I combined a few stamp sets to create the final image. For the tree, I used the Christmas tree image from PTI’s Home for the Holidays set. I masked and stamped it three times to make it bigger than the original size.

I popped up a few parts of the chair to make it a bit more realistic!
Welp! There ya have it! I’m a fan of this card. It’s red. It’s rustic and the layout is simple, just how I like it!
Thanks for stopping by!
